TMT Enterprises, Inc. joined their partners; The San Francisco Giants Community Fund and The Good Tidings Foundation in dedicating the newly renovated Barry Zito Junior Giants Ball Fields at Van Buskirk Community Center in Stockton, CA. TMT was one of a few key partners responsible for providing materials and manpower to renovate these fields for an under-served group of inner city kids. The Giants Community Fund, The Good Tidings Foundation and Barry Zito recruited vendors, contractors and the other professionals it takes to put something of this scope together. As a team, we were able to provide two adjacent fields for the Junior Giants program. These fields have the same grass and the same infield playing surface as that at AT&T Park in San Francisco. There were several officials from the City of Stockton in attendance as well as Barry Zito, Peter McGowan and others from the San Francisco Giants organization, representatives of The Good Tidings Foundation and many kids and families from the community. When the ceremony was complete, everyone was treated to a ball-park lunch of hot dogs and sodas while we enjoyed an exhibition game on one of the new fields. It was great to see the appreciation these kids had for something many of us take for granted. Needless to say, the project was a great success and TMT Enterprises will surely continue to partner with industry organizations to benefit upcoming generations. |
